| Day 1: |
Welcome drink; settling in at Vale de
Ferro and general orientation. |
|

|
Day 2: |
In order to get to know our four-legged
friends we will start by getting the horse ready to ride, including
brushing, cleaning and saddling it. |
|

|
Next comes some instruction on the
correct way to approach and mount the horse, including saddle position,
balance in the saddle, how to hold the reins, etc. (2 lessons of 30
min.) |

Day 3: |
Again we prepare the horse for riding. We continue with the lessons of the
previous day with the aim of increasing the confidence of the rider.(2
lessons of 30 min.) |

Day 4: |
We prepare the horse for riding.We have a brief lesson to prepare for
our ride. |

| |

| |
We have a ride following an easy
itinerary. Depending upon the competence of the rider a short canter is
possible. (one hour ride or 2 lessons of 30 min.) |

Day 5: |
A day of rest and relaxation. |

Day 6: |
Again we begin by preparing the horse
for the ride We have a practice session for the ride
that will follow We go out for the ride following a
different itinerary from the previous one. The choice of itinerary will
depend upon the rider’s capabilities. (one hour ride or 2 lessons of
30 min) |

Day 7: |
Depending upon the confidence and
ability of the student rider, he or she can choose either to take a two
hour ride or simply to continue and expand upon the prior lessons. (2
hour ride or 4 lessons of 30 min.) |

Day 8: |
Breakfast and check out. |
